- Accumulator
- A single bet that links two or more selections; every choice must win for the bet to pay out, multiplying the odds together.
- Asian Handicap
- A betting line that gives one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage, removing the draw as an option and creating two possible outcomes.
- Bankroll Management
- The strategy of deciding how much of your total funds to risk on each bet to protect against big losses.
- Bet Builder
- An online tool that lets you combine several different markets from the same match into a single, customized wager.
- Bet Slip
- The digital record showing the selections you have made, the odds offered, and the amount you wish to stake.
- Cash Out
- A feature that allows you to settle a bet before the match ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss based on current odds.
- Double Chance
- A market that lets you back two of the three possible results (e.g., home win or draw) in one bet.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet on a team to win; if the match ends in a draw, your stake is returned.
- Edge
- The advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker, usually identified through analysis of odds versus true probability.
- Fixed Odds
- The odds set at the time of placement that remain unchanged regardless of later market movements.
- Handicapping
- The process of studying team form, statistics, and other factors to assess the likelihood of outcomes and find value bets.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing or changing a bet after the match has started, with odds that update in real time as the game progresses.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula that calculates the optimal percentage of your bankroll to wager based on your perceived edge.
- Line Movement
- The change in odds or point spreads over time as more bets are placed and the bookmaker adjusts the market.
- Market
- A specific betting option such as match result, total goals, or a player performance prop.
- Odds
- The numerical representation of an outcome’s likelihood, also indicating how much you will win per unit staked.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic, like total goals, will be higher (over) or lower (under) than a set line.
- Parlay
- A bet that combines multiple selections; all must win for a payout, similar to an accumulator but often used interchangeably.
- Price Boost
- A promotional offer that increases the odds on a chosen market for a limited period, giving a higher potential return.
- Push
- A tie result in a betting market where the bet is declared void and the stake is refunded.
- Spread

- Stake

- Steam
- Rapid, large‑scale line movement caused by heavy betting on one side, often signaling sharp money.
- Value Bet
